East Coast Railway (ECoR) emerged champions in the 24th Pradip Memorial International Cricket Festival, defeating Progressive Association, Jharsuguda by five wickets in the low-scoring final at Hanuman Jew Mini Stadium in Tillo, Bhadrak today.
Earlier in the semifinals, Progressive Association beat Southern University, Bangladesh by two wickets, while East Coast Railway outplayed Tata XI, Jamshedpur by eight wickets. The T20 tournament was organised by Tillo Athletic Association with 12 teams in the fray. The champion team took home a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and the runners-up side Rs 50,000.
